Less Than Equal To, 2015, uses USD bills along with the mathematical symbols of ‘less than’ or ‘more than’ applied to a social condition where having more money or less money does not equal ‘more human’ or ‘less human’.

Michael Pribich is an interdisciplinary artist living in New York City and Jalisco, México. His work focuses on the social conditions of labor and any context in which people face dehumanizing treatment. His practice includes sculpture, video, drawing, and installation work, and travel is an integral part of his work process. His core belief is that in recognizing labor as cultural production, we create an expanded social space.
