Louis Block (b. 1995 Cambridge MA) lives and works in Brooklyn NY. He received his BFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Recent group exhibitions include Tappeto Volante Projects, Brooklyn; Steuben Gallery, Brooklyn; Below Grand, New York; and Mana Contemporary, Jersey City. He is a frequent contributor to the Brooklyn Rail including recent texts on Thomas Nozkowski, Ellsworth Kelly, and Lois Dodd.
