Bone Labyrinth

Mara Rosenbloom Keys & Composition
Melanie Dyer Viola
Sean Conly Bass

Pianist, composer, & bandleader Mara Rosenbloom has been called “a whole hearted poet of the piano,” – she is a builder & a synthesist; a fiercely lyrical composer & improviser (All About Jazz). With an interest in building community by encouraging honest expression and interactive dialogue through music – human connection has been a focus of Rosenbloom’s work throughout the past decade, and as a result, powerful group interaction has become a hallmark of Rosenbloom’s sound.

The bone labyrinth is something we all have inside of us – housing our inner ear, our ability to hear & balance. “I love these humans!” says Rosenbloom. “Sean & Melanie inspire me so deeply with their creativity & resonant wisdom, and this will be our first show in front of a live audience, and my first performance after a long period of quarantine and substitute of “live” streams. Just come! We make this music for sharing, and we will be full of joy & spirit for this set, you’d better believe it!”
