Open Source programs during COVID-19

Open Source is an organization that relies upon and thrives on our community. During this pandemic, we have had to re-think all of our programming–which is in-person and dialogue-focused–to find ways to move into a virtual sphere. We are currently developing two programs and we hope you will join us in our new initiatives!
ARTISTS AT HOME
While we are not able to present our regular exhibition programs, we would still like to use this time to constructively interact with our community of artists. Through both text and video interviews, we will be checking in with artists we have worked with in the past to see what they are working on, and how the pandemic is impacting their work and their communities. Though we are all making an effort to remain self-quarantined, we still aim to broaden our community’s worldview and increase awareness of what’s happening around the globe.
SOUP KITCHEN
What is more comforting than our December Soup Kitchen?
Join the Open Source crew and local artists for dinners and art on Zoom. During each event, a different local artist will host, showcasing their art and what they are eating for dinner. We will come together to discuss how this pandemic is impacting our community and how it is affecting us individually.
How to Build a Fire and cHURCH OF MONIKA
How to Build a Fire and the cHURCH OF MONIKA will continue on their regular schedule on Zoom!
