Join us at the cHURCH for How to dream like a Rohingya girl, a conversation with writer Jennifer Chowdhury. This is a free event. Bagels and coffee will be served.

This spring, Chowdhury went to Bangladesh, her homeland, to report on the Rohingya refugee camps. The Rohingyas are a Muslim minority in Myanmar that have seeked refuge in neighboring Bangladesh. During her time there, she focused her attention on women and young girls. What is life like for a teenage girl who the world has forgotten? What does she dream of. It’s Chowdhury’s mission to find out.
