The Broken Reed Saxophone Quartet is anything but broken. It is classical, jazzical, sometimes cute-ical and occasionally profound. Composer-in-residence Charley Gerard won the New Jazz Works grant from Chamber Music America in 2019 and the Jazz Roads grant in 2024. Along with Charley, the group includes the wonderful Lily White, the excellent Jeff Newell and the extremely talented Dimitri Moderbacher. Vocalist Tammy Scheffer will be performing with the group.
