With play and recreational activities centered on music, art, nature, and the relationship with the neighborhood, for thirty days the selected candidates will contribute to creating community through “street education”, alongside instructors in the Koko Camps of Lecco, Naples, and Biella (summer camps accommodating between 50 and 100 kids per week).

PLEASE NOTE
From January to April 2021, a 30-hour online training course will be held in English. This will focus on experiences, tools, and methodologies, leading up to the drafting of a project proposal. At the end of the course, the best proposals will be included among the summer activities of the KOKO CAMPS in Lecco, Naples, and Biella (run by C.R.AM.S., Cittadellarte, and Maestri di Strada). The young people selected will be hosted by local families and will be entitled to room and board for the entire period, a contribution for travel expenses, and reimbursement of expenses proportional to the period of engagement. The activities will be carried out from Monday to Friday, with two days free per week.

COVID 19 Disclaimer

We are aware of the possible difficulties to travel abroad in the summer 2021. We are still going ahead with our online preparation of educators and are hoping that a proper distribution of vaccines will ease the situation by Summer 2021. We will obviously postpone all activities if it is not safe to hold outside workshops and to mix households. We will also comply with all international safety guidelines.

This video is our inspiration for the work ahead of us in Lecco, Neaples, Biella and New York.
