We are hiring: Education Administrator (Part-Time)

Open Source Gallery is seeking a meticulous, energetic and flexible administrator for our youth arts & STEM program, KoKo NYC.

Open Source is a thriving and fast-growing non-profit arts organization inspired by the open source movement. Our educational program, KoKo NYC, operates after school programs in 15 schools, shelters, workshops and other spaces throughout NYC. KoKo NYC combines socially engaged art with STEM education and sustainability, engaging with creativity as an integral part of youth development.

Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to self-start and multi-task
Proven expertise with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience creating content for social media posts and other marketing materials
Interest in our educational mission and in alternative educational concepts
2-4 years of administrative experience or equivalent education or work experience

Relevant (not required) skills:
Experience using Sawyer registration platform, Canva and/or Adobe Suite, Slack, Mad Mimi and QuickBooks

Key duties and responsibilities:
Create workshop rosters, attendance sheets and staff sign in sheets
Create calendar invites for all workshops
Create staff availability surveys and track responses
Create contracts and invoices for schools, hosting venues and other partners
Manage social media accounts, marketing and outreach for education programs

Part-time (approx. 15 hours a week, hybrid, Tu/Th in our Brooklyn office + 5 hrs remote)
