PAOLO NALDINI:

Director of Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto and UNIDEE

FROM PANDEMIC TO PAN-DEMOPRAXY
Paolo Naldini, director of Cittadellarte, launches a choral initiative of restarting (rebirth) after the pandemic. It is primarily addressed to the network of Rebirth / Third Paradise Ambassadors, but also to all those who are active in their community with practices and thinking of sustainable prosperity. Inspired by Subsonica sound track dedicated to the Third Paradise, the initiative asks: “How will you live. How you will learn. How will you communicate. How will you express yourself. How will you do everything you do?” In order to clarify the questions, the text below offers two ideas, two algorithms: the sense of balance (represented by the vision and the symbol of the Third Paradise) and the art of Demopraxy. “If we still don’t know where exactly this virus came from and how it spread – so Naldini – we can decide where it will direct us.” This assumption of direct responsibility for the daily practice of our life is the lesson of the pandemic and therefore it is called: Pan-demopraxy.

Nowadays my reflection about postpandemic Third Paradise  (and therefore my actions!) can be summed up like this: Don’t waste, be kind, go vegan 🙂

ALESSIA SILIGARDI:

I’m Alessia Siligardi. I’m teaching fashion in high school.

I’m one of the ambassadors of the Third Paradise from 2012 when started the first Rebirth-day on 21th December.
In these pictures you can see how the Third Paradise symbol is perfect for all the ages because in these years I have been working with children from nursery to adults.
I think the symbol is really immediate and easy to understand for all people. This is precious because you can transmit important values about our society.
In this particular moment of Corona virus and pandemic this symbol is perfect because shows how artifice can live with nature without destroy it. Thinking about this concept is also thinking about the future for our society.
