Ingeborg Kvame
Ingeborg Kvame is an artist from Stavanger, Norway. Monika Wuhrer co-curated with Ingeborg Find Your Eyes, an experimental outdoor exhibition on Sølyst, an island in Stavanger, where she also exhibited.
Ingeborg Kvame works with printmaking, drawing, textiles and sculpture, often using nature as a source for materials. Her works are open and investigating, and at the same time characterized by a solid crafts. By juxtaposing contrasts, the light against the dark, the living against the dead, she seeks to provide simple visual expressions the ability to embrace multiple layers of meaning.
Ingeborg generously donated work to the Open Source Fundraiser. The work is currently available at the art shop on the Open Source website.
