Microbial Metrics and Collaborative Interfaces across Scales and Species
Dr. Elizabeth Hénaff’s talk, entitled “Microbial Metrics and Collaborative Interfaces across Scales and Species” will discuss the ongoingness of the relationship between humans – and multicellular organisms at large – with the invisible, ubiquitous biological component of our landscapes which is the environmental microbiome.
Dr. Elizabeth Hénaff is a computational biologist with an art practice. Her research focuses on the ubiquitous and invisible environmental microbiome, and its relationship to anthropogenic environments. Her practice manifests as scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, scholarly writing, and artworks shown nationally and internationally. She is an Assistant Professor at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
