ARTS ADMINISTRATION INTERNSHIP

We are currently offering an administrative internship for qualified undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students. Internships are unpaid with academic credit available. Interns will report directly to the Executive Director and will work closely with the Development Director. Candidates must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with an interest in the arts.

Responsibilities will include:
– Management of outreach, press, and marketing materials
– Research for funding and promotional opportunities
– Conduct press and community outreach
– Work with the staff and Board of Directors on fundraising strategies and activities
– Assist in the organization of events and installation of exhibits
– Gallery sitting and event staffing
– Other research and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Strong organizational and research skills
– Well-organized and detail-oriented
– Flexible with the ability to multi-task
– WordPress experience a plus!

Time commitment:
– Candidates must be able to commit 8-10 hours a week for a minimum of 3 months

VOLUNTEERS:

Open Source Gallery is always seeking enthusiastic, motivated volunteers and interns of all ages to assist with a wide variety of tasks so that we can expand gallery hours and better serve the community!

Activities include: assisting with social media, website maintenance/development, administrative duties, gallery sitting, community events, organization, and outreach.

Hours are flexible and credit is available for high schools and colleges.
