Between Mountain is a collaborative art project and workshop by the Norwegian artists Margrethe Aanestad, Else Leirvik, and Ole Martin Lund Bø, dancer Lene Aareskjold and musician Hai Nguyen Dinh (Next Life).

During the duration of March, 2012 in NYC the artists have created a dynamic body of work, both as individuals, as a group and with strangers, based on the overarching theme of personal / public space, particularly as it relates to cultural differences. During the last week of March, seven private residences in Manhattan and Brooklyn will host events, some public and some private, including artworks and performances. Open Source Gallery will host a group exhibition by Aanestad, Leirvik and Lund Bø.

The project is process-based and emphasis will be put on a post-released artist made publication that will document and reflect upon the project. The publication will be released in NYC and Norway September 2012.
