The Thrift Shop

hello all,
our next show is called the thrift shop and will include objects made as “art”, as well as consumer goods that would normally be sold at second-hand stores and flea markets. loosely, the idea is that there really is no difference between commodities and that everything is everything. we at open source gallery are flummoxed at the pomp and circumstance involving art seen at the chelsea mall. worse, shows all over the city tend to way overvalue the work of emerging artists. well, get over yourselves and bring a reasonably priced object to open source. profits are split 50-50.
